JAMB Officially Invites Educator Alex Onyia to Join Review Panel for 2025 UTME Results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially invited Mr. Alex Onyia, the CEO of EDUCARE, to be part of a special review panel for the 2025 UTME results.

This invitation was confirmed through a formal letter sent to Mr. Onyia by JAMB on May 13, 2025.

In the letter, JAMB stated that the panel was set up to review the entire conduct of the 2025 UTME, especially after public concerns over the results.

The panel will look at what went wrong (if anything), suggest improvements, and help ensure future UTME exams are better.

Why This Matters

Many students have expressed their worries about the 2025 JAMB results. Some said their scores didn’t match their expectations. This move by JAMB shows that the board is listening and wants to be transparent.

According to the letter, the review will happen on Thursday, May 15, 2025. Mr. Onyia is one of several education experts invited.

Others on the panel include principals, university and polytechnic leaders, examiners, and professionals from top education networks in Nigeria.

Alex Onyia Speaks Out

Mr. Onyia also confirmed the invitation on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle @winexviv.

“I received a formal invitation from JAMB for us to transparently conduct a thorough review of the 2025 JAMB exam. The review date is next tomorrow (Thursday).

After our review, I will publicly share my findings.

If you have been troubled, keep calm. I’m hopeful that something positive will come out of it. You burnt candles, had sleepless nights, had high hopes. We will not fail you!”

What Students Should Know

  • Stay calm – The review is a step in the right direction.
  • Wait for the findings – Mr. Onyia has promised to share the results of the review.
  • JAMB is listening – This move shows that the board is open to change and transparency.

As a student myself, I know how it feels to spend long nights studying and then see results that don't make sense.

But this review gives hope. It's a sign that your voices are being heard. Let’s wait patiently for the outcome.
